The story
In 2006, garbage was piling up in the streets of Beirut — so we started treating it as a material, not a problem. Retired billboards became bags. Banners became beanbags. Twenty years on, every piece is still cut, sewn and stuffed by hand — and still keeps one more thing out of the landfill.
